Tragedies

It seems that people initially react to a tragedy with fear. People also feel they need to be with people they know or even just people to make them feel as if they're not the only ones that will go through this. After the tragedy it seems that people either mourn or try to resolve the damage that has happened. Every tragedy it handled different it seems. 9/11 and Katrina were both assisted with by the government and volunteers. The earthquake in San Francisco, however, didn't get assistance immediately. San Francisco didn't have the technology that we did and couldn't get the rest of the world to know about it as fast. The government did later help but it was mostly the people that were responsible for handling the tragedy and trying to rebuild the city.
